What are dermal filler treatments?

Dermal filler is a great treatment to help restructure, re-volumise, balance and contour the facial profile.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally produced substance that is found within the connective tissues of the skin. It helps provide the skin with structure, volume and hydration. By using a suitable product of choice from a premium dermal filler range, this natural hyaluronic acid product can be carefully placed to create different clients goals.

As part of the natural ageing process, we lose volume within the face. This starts to happen from your late 20’s and early 30’s and affects how our face was once structured. You may notice your face starting to feel heavy in the lower region and jowl area or sunken in the mid face and nose to mouth region with lines becoming more noticeable.

By injecting hyaluronic acid, this will replace the volume that has been lost and help restructure, define and volumise the targeted areas. The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles can be improved and it will ultimately give you a more rejuvenated and youthful look.

HOW DOES The dermal filler process work?

  • You will receive a consultation prior to your treatment which will include an overview of the treatment process, a full facial assessment and a review of medical history to ensure you are suitable for this treatment. 

    Together we will discuss your individual treatment goals/concerns and outline a plan on how we will achieve this.

  • At the beginning of the appointment, I will map out and mark the areas that require treatment.

    Numbing cream is used prior to this treatment which minimises pain.

    I will then perform a small amount of injections into the targeted areas.

    The appointment will last from 45-60 minutes, and the results are instant. You can expect the healing process to be complete in 14 days.
