mediskin academy

SKIN & Aesthetics Training in Long Eaton, Nottingham.

Choosing your next training course is a big decision. You want to deepen your knowledge, develop your practical skills and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.

I’m Sophie, an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Level 7 qualified Aesthetic Practitioner and Level 5 Teacher & Assessor. I’m passionate about making clinical education thorough, approachable and relevant to the patients you’ll see in practice.

My teaching goes beyond showing you how to perform a treatment. We explore the anatomy, assessment and reasoning behind your decisions, alongside supervised practical learning - with patient safety and individualised care at the heart of every course.

My aim is for you to leave with more than a set of techniques. To understand why you’re choosing a treatment, how to tailor your approach and when to take a step back. Because thoughtful clinical decisions are just as important as practical skills.

Sophie Gordon, aesthetics educator and Independent Nurse Prescriber at MediSkin.

How to Book Your Aesthetics Training

Choosing the right training is an investment in yourself and your practice. Before you book, I want to understand your experience, what you’d like to learn and which course is the right fit for you.

Your Training Environment & Ongoing Support

Our purpose-built clinic and training suite in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, welcomes practitioners from Nottingham, Derby and beyond.

With just three or four practitioners per course, there’s time to ask questions, receive individual feedback and develop your skills through supervised practical learning. I want you to feel comfortable revisiting anything you’re unsure about and understanding the why behind what you’re doing.

Your learning continues beyond the training day, with post-course educational support to help clarify questions as you put your skills into practice. We’ll explain what’s included with your chosen course before you book.

Throughout your training, you can expect approachable teaching, honest feedback and a shared focus on thoughtful patient care.
